Sustainable packaging at the IBA Fair
The IBA Fair is one of the most important events in the world of bakery and confectionery, and this year, Coverpan will be present this 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 in Hall A2, Stand 354, to bring you all the latest news and trends in packaging for the sector. In this article, we will tell you everything you need to know about Coverpan’s participation in IBA 2023 and why this event is a must for bakery and confectionery professionals.
What is the IBA Show?
IBA is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the bakery, pastry and confectionery industry. IBA stands for “Internationale Bäckerei-Ausstellung”, which means International Bakery Exhibition. This fair is held every three years in Munich, Germany.
The IBA brings together industry professionals, including bakers, confectioners, equipment manufacturers and ingredient suppliers, to present and discover the latest trends, innovations and technologies related to the production of bread, pastry and confectionery products. It is a major event for the global bakery community, providing a platform to network, exchange knowledge and promote the growth and development of the industry.

IBA 2023 takes place in Munich, Germany and is held at the Messe München. You can find Coverpan’s stand in Hall A2, Stand 354. The latest trends in packaging for bakery and confectionery products
Coverpan will be presenting its wide range of #PackInGreen products at IBA 2023. This is sustainable, sustainable and compostable packaging in reel (link to reels in Coverpan) and bag formats. Among the latter, our customised paper bags for bakeries (link a bolsas sin ventana Coverpan) will take centre stage, with the novelty of offering bags with a transparent biodegradable and compostable window (link a bolsas con ventanta). We will also be presenting our Doypack Bags (link a doypacks) that are fully biodegradable, compostable and bio-based. This is a unique flexible packaging to present a wide variety of products.
